The Ace Hotel has finally confirmed what we all knew for over a year – they will be opening a new location in the warehouse district in 2016 at 600 Carondelet St.

The hotel is part of the larger South Market District development by the Domain Companies, who purchased the art-deco property in 2013 for $5.5 million.

The new hotel will feature 234 keys and will occupy the building most recently known as the URS building, which was built in the 1920’s and once housed the Max Barnett Furniture Store.

Construction actually started in 2014, and you can see some of designs and renderings here.

Ace Hotel is a trendy hotel known for its public spaces and good vibes.
