American Can Apartments To Get Face Lift [Check out the Pics]

In 2013, the 268-unit American Can Company Apartments sold for $30.8 million.  The owner, Audubon Communities Management, told media outlets at the time that he had plans to give the complex a face lift.

Well, the new owner recently filed a building permit for modifications and upgrades to the building.  In particular, the new plans call for improvements to the retail facade at the ground level facing Orleans Avenue.

The ground floor facade improvements consist of new storefront glass in bay openings, new retail configuration, new raised walkway, new sidewalk, new scrim/screen, new signage and adjusted parking configuration.
