The newly formed Friends of Bayou St. John organization purchased the former Bibleway Missionary Baptist Churchat 3201 Orleans Avenue and plans to convert the space into a coffee shop and office space.

Our friends at MidCity Messenger report that the project will include office space for non profits and a second location for The Station, the neighborhood coffee shop on Bienville Street.  Another potential tenant includes a catering business.

The development will have off-street parking.

Friends of Bayou St. John is led by President Jared Zeller, a local entrepreneur.
