DXC Technology Signs New Lease in Downtown New Orleans For Its Possible 2,000 Employees

Today, DXC Technology, the technology firm that will be hiring 2,000 employees in New Orleans, announced that they had signed thee lease for their Technology Center at the Freeport McMoRan Building, at 1615 Poydras Street across from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

 DXC will occupy two floors and will begin operating in the building in January.  Ultimately, the company has options to lease up to 10 floors representing a total of 220,000 square feet of commercial space. DXC’s lease is with Poydras (Louisiana) LLC.

“We’re delighted that DXC Technology has found a home for its Digital Transformation Center in New Orleans and the hiring process is underway,” Gov. John Bel Edwards said. “The DXC project is one of the most significant in the history of our state. We welcome their arrival and will continue our work to provide the best training and talent pipeline possible through all of our Louisiana higher education systems.”
