Hard Rock International is working with local developer Kailas Companies on the 18-story project with 350 hotel rooms and 62 residences in addition to meeting spaces and two ballrooms, totaling roughly 12,000 square feet of event space.
The development will also feature pool and lobby bars, a skybar and lounge, and two restaurants and a coffee shop.
Hard Rock International is now in more than 75 cities around the world. “As Hard Rock continues to expand globally, our focus will be influential cities with deep musical roots,” states Todd Hricko, senior vice president, head of global hotel development for Hard Rock International. “Home to a unique melting pot of cultures, New Orleans — known for its nightlife and vibrant live-music scene – has been a desirable choice for our next Hard Rock Hotel.”
