Atlanta-based Pond Architects Engineers Planners won a five year, $100 million contract from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center.  The firm’s 30 person Metairie office will fulfill and administer the job.

The services are for the Army’s joint venture with Ohio-based geospatial engineering firm Woolpert, and include real estate planning and programming for Army bases and Department of Defense agencies at locations around the world.

Pond created its hub for Federal Facilities Planning and Geospatial Services in Metairie in 2012.  What started as a two person team has grown to over 30 employees at the Metairie location.  The local office is housed in 6,000 square feet of office space at 110 Veterans Blvd., and generates over $30 million per year in revenue associated with military and federal master planning, geospatial services, application development and design support.

Pond, founded in 1965, is a full-service architecture and engineering consulting firm that provides services to private and government clients across the nation.
