Happy Raptor Distilling, a new micro distillery, plans to open its doors at 1512 Robert C. Blakes Sr. Drive, according to our friends at Uptown Messenger.
The 2,000 square foot space will feature a custom-built copper still and a mural by local artist Hill Landry. Their first products will include 504Rum, 504Hibiscus and 504BananasFoster.
Founders Meagen Moreland-Taliancich, Mark Taliancich and Peter Rivera are raising $30,000 in a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. They have raised $21,000 so far.
