A new Smoothie King store is coming to Magazine Street at a location that used to house a Quiznos.

The new Smoothie King will go in at 2801 Magazine Street directly next to Starbucks.

One March 3, 2014, Smoothie King filed an HDLC application permit.

Although the application does not list Smoothie King by name, it looks like the Smoothie King corporate website confirms the smoothie shop’s new location at this address.

Smoothie King, which was founded in Covington and recently moved its headquarters to Metairie, recently made a big splash when it bought the naming rights to the New Orleans Arena.  The newly renamed arena is now known as Smoothie King Centrr.
