Stirling Properties just broke ground on a 9,000 SF expansion to River Chase Shopping Center in Covington, Louisiana.  Construction recently commenced on the 2-tenant building that will be the future home to Men’s Wearhouse and Bellagio Salon & Spa.  Located next to Region’s Bank, both stores will open summer of 2014.

Men’s Wearhouse, a specialty retailers of men’s apparel, is expanding within the center from 1,400 SF to 5,000 SF.  Bellagio Salon & Spa is taking the rest of the space.

The River Chase Shopping Center is a 253+ acre development that began as a shopping center and has become a master planned, mixed use development with over $60 million in public-private infrastructure site improvements.

Current tenants include Target, JC Penney, Belk Department Store, Regal Cinemas Holiday Inn Express, Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and Which Wich Superior Sandwiches.
