Big box retailers T.J. Maxx and Ross Dress for Less opened their doors in the new $30 million Magnolia Marketplace on, reports Fox 8 News.

The entire shopping center, co-developed by Stirling Properties and JCH Development officially opens Friday March 13.

Magnolia Marketplace is 100% leased, and will feature other tenants, including PetSmart, Subway, Capitol One, Michael’s, T-Mobile, Shoe Carnival, Raising Cane’s and Ulta Beauty.

Michael’s will celebrate its grand opening of its new store at the shopping center on Sunday March 22. The store will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and will be giving away more than $1,500 in gift cards and prizes throughout the day.

The New Orleans City Council developed a special 1 cent taxing district for the development, which would help finance $2.3 million in state bonds for infrastructure improvements at the site.
