Our office is submitting the attached drawings for permit outlining a limited scope of work for the existing building located at 2541 Bayou Road New Orleans LA. The exiting building is a masonry framed ecclesiastical building with timber framed roof. The building is currently unoccupied and in the opinion of the architect unsuitable for occupancy at this time. While our office has included construction information regarding the potential future use and rehabilitation of the property the scope of work being submitted for permit is limited to the following:  Non-Structural interior demolition and removal of any/all chattel currently present on site.  Installation of roofing repairs and remedial waterproofing at roof/walls to stabilize the building and stem continued deterioration due to water infiltration and weathering.  Removal of plant materials currently growing on the building exterior and at the building interior.  Minor exterior masonry restoration work as required to stem continued deterioration due to water infiltration and weathering. No mechanical, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or redevelopment work is included in the scope of this submission. It is not the intent of this submission to result in restored occupancy for the building. Work is strictly defined to stem continued deterioration of the remaining building materials and as required to stabilize and secure the structure against continued damage.
