Today, the Jefferson Parish Council unanimously approved the Clearview site plan for a new strip mall across six lots once zoned for homes, reports nola.com.

The site is on the western face of Clearview one block south of its intersection with West Metairie Avenue, between King and Prince streets.

The six related lots were unanimously approved for a rezone to make way for the strip center.

The development team includes area residents Mark Subervielle and Scott Davidson.
