Developers Lori and Matt Mitchell have purchased the old Crescent Rice Mill Building with plans to turn it into high priced condos, Curbed reports.

The Mitchell’s told Curbed that the property will feature “super high end” condos, priced between $700k to $2.5MM.  The building is approximately 36,000 square feet.

The Crescent Rice Mill Condos will include five rooftop penthouses, four common hot tubs, and a new restaurant coming to the ground floor.

The Mitchell’s closed on the sale in September.  CanalStreetBeat has not been able to verify the acquisition price.

The architect is Hank Smith of HBSA II.  The Mitchell’s are from Lafayette.
