Stirling Properties and CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. held the grand opening yesterday of Phase II of Fremaux Town Center in Slidell, Louisiana. ThisDillard’s-anchored second phase adds 283,000 square feet to the existing complex.
Phase II is 86 percent leased. Phase I is 98 percent leased.
The first phase of construction for Fremaux Town Center included 350,000 square feet of retail and opened in 2014 with tenants like Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, T.J.Maxx, and Michaels. Stirling kicked off the second phase n August 2014, and announced new tenants including Victoria’s Secret, Which Which, and Forever 21 earlier this year.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of this second phase of Fremaux Town Center. Phase II complements the existing tenants in the first phase and is another big part of growing the overall development,” stated Stirling Properties’ Senior Vice President of Development Townsend Underhill. “Fremaux Town Center offers a one-of-a-kind retail experience in the City of Slidell and Eastern St. Tammany Parish, with many of the retailers and restaurants to date that are new to the Northshore.”

An apartment complex called Springs at Fremaux Town Center, is also slated to open this fall.
