$40 Million Parkway Apartments Breaks Ground

The $40 million proposed apartment complex at the corner of Washington Avenue and Jefferson Davis Parkway near Xavier University has broken ground, and is expected to open in 2019.

The 207 unit project located at 4650 Washington Ave. include 207 one- and two-bedroom apartments and 13,700 square feet of street-level retail space. The development also includes 313 parking spaces and a fitness center, event space, a swimming pool, a dog park and a barbecue area.

The development team includes Denzel Clark of Citadel Builders, C. Mohan Kailas of Kailas Companies and Todd Trosclair of All Star Electric Inc. Harry Baker Smith Architects II is the architect and Citadel Builders is the general contractor.
