Stirling Takes Over Management of Perkins Rowe

Perkins RoweStirling Properties announced its been awarded a contract to provide comprehensive leasing, sales, property and construction management services for Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge, which includes 364,648 square feet of retail, 126,000 square feet of Class A office space and upscale apartments and condominiums.

Perkins Rowe is a large mixed use development that opened in early 2008.  Perkins Rowe was developed by JTS Interests and the main architectural firm that designed the projects is Development Design Group.

Stirling is taking over management of the mixed-use development from Jones Lang LaSalle, which was appointed by a federal judge to take over and manage Perkins Rowe in August 2009 after the main lender on the project, KeyBank National Association, initiated foreclosure proceedings against its developer, Tommy Spinosa.  Read more about the litigation from the Baton Rouge Business Report.

Stirling has been on the move lately, developing Magnolia Marketplace and Mid-City Market in New Orleans, the Fremaux Town Center in Slidell, and buying several Baton Rouge office buildings.
