Plans were filed with the city this week to add one floor of apartments to an existing office building at 320 North Carrollton Avenue. Permit description filed with the city:
Construct 3rd story (7 rental apartments and support spaces) on an existing office building (13,500 sf) and renovation of existing per plans and CPC approval.

This is “new” old news. My company was located in the Mid-City Center in 2005 when Katrina hit. Biencar Investments was my landlord. The Verges Architects group owns the building, and they had plans to add a floor and put condos there already in place.
OMG – I was eating at 5 bros 2 days ago – looked over and thought –
they should build a floor or two on that building.
