The $25 million renovation at the downtown New Orleans DoubleTree by Hilton that started in 2016 is now complete.

A full overhaul of the hotel’s 367 guest rooms was included in the renovations.  Every room was redecorated, and the 16,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting and event space, pool, and lobby was also refreshed.

Walton Street Capital purchased the 225,000 square foot building at 300 Canal Street in 2015 for $85.25 million, or $232,000 per key.

Montgomery Roth was the architect and Complete Property Services (CPS) was the contractor.

The hotel hired local artist Ron Domingue to create a custom art installation in the lobby.
