High Voltage Software to Open Game Development Studio in New Orleans, Leases Space Downtown

High Voltage Software Inc., one of the largest third-party game developers in the world, announced that they will establish a new video game development studio in Place St. Charles, with operations beginning in January.

HVS will create 80 new direct jobs with salaries ranging from $50,000 to $120,000, plus benefits.  HVS currently employs more than 100 of the game industry’s most talented individuals.

HVS will lease office space at Place St. Charles, the same Class A Tower that houses firms like GE Capital, Corporate Realty, Capital One, and Jones Walker.

Located in the heart of downtown New Orleans’ financial district, within one-half block of branches of the three largest banking institutions in Louisiana, the 52 floors of Place St. Charles offer 1,004,000 total square feet of class A space. Floors 1 through 2 house Retail; floors 3 through 13 accommodate Parking; and floors 14 through 52 consist of Office Space.

High Voltage Software Inc. The third party game developer is responsible for working with over 25 major brands–Star Wars, Toy Story, Batman and more– and shipping 95 game titles.
