Devalepay Inc., the owner of 1201-1219 St. Bernard Ave., has filed plans with the City for a 30,000 square foot hotel at the site that will include 44 rooms and 8 covered parking spaces.
Devalepay has requested a conditional use permit from the city to permit a hotel over 10,000 square feet in the HMC-2 zoning district. According to plans filed with the city, the developers plans include a “state of the art modern hotel with conference, retail, and restaurant space.”
The developer purchased the property in 2015 for $179,000. The site is a former car wash of 8,300 square feet.
CCWIV Architecture, LLC is the architect.
