Last week, the City Planning Commission approved a proposed 22,000 square foot, three story office building at 5243 Canal Blvd. The building is being built by and will be used to house the Womac Law Firm.
The building will have parking for 44 cars no the first floor, with office space on the top two floors. The development will also feature balconies facing a new greenway. One of the CPC conditions will require the developer to improve the access to the Lafitte Greenway on its own dime.
Doug Mayo is the project architect and Mike Sherman of Sherman Strategies is representing the owners on land use matters.
