Hispanic-owned general contractor Colmex Construction unveiled their new headquarters on Earhart Blvd. in March.
Not only do they have a brand new headquarters located at 4334 Earhart Blvd., but the nine year old company also announced the space will be a business incubator for construction companies. The official ribbon cutting ceremony took place on March 30 where they unveiled the new space.
“This is an expansion to their existing operation as a result of their consistent growth over the past few years,” shared the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana, a partner of Colmex.
Colmex Construction is a general contractor that specializes in all phases of construction from small repair to new home construction, residential or commercial projects.
“We’re thrilled to open the doors to our new location equipped to better serve our clients and community,” said Angelica Rivera, President of Colmex Construction.
The company has worked with non-profit agencies such as Habitat for Humanity, Jericho Road Episcopal Housing, Providence Community Housing, RTNO, Harmony Neighborhood Development (formerly the New Orleans Neighborhood Development Collaborative), the Preservation Resource Center, and Lower 9th Ward NENA. New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA), and the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO).
