Last week an application was submitted to build condos at 749 St Charles Avenue. For many years, this property operated as the Le -Dale Hotel. Interesting bit of trivia is that the Le Dale Hotel is where Ylenia Carrisi disappeared in 1994. She was often referred to as Italy’s Vanna White.
Description of the project according to the permit application:
“Partial demolition and construction of seven-story building and addition of four stories to existing three-story for approximately 27,000 sf mixed use development.”

*Owners of the property according to the assessors site is LEPRE PROPERTIES, LLC of Harahan, La.
