True Food Kitchen is the anchor tenant at the new downtown, mixed-use development called The Julia. The restaurant is located at the corner of St Charles Avenue and Julia Street.
The Julia features 198 apartments, 150 parking spaces, 16,000 square feet of retail, and 11,000 square feet of landscaped courtyards.
The first Louisiana location of the Arizona-based restaurant brand is set to open on Wednesday, September 25. The brand is backed by Oprah and focuses on health-driven, seasonal food.
True Food Kitchen currently has 28 locations in 12 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. In addition to the Louisiana opening, the brand is also planning a location in Nevada.
