The Times-Picayune reports that developers are planning to build a small, 12-room boutique hotel on a vacant lot on the Mandeville lakefront.
The location sits next to The Barley Oak and plans have already been approved by the city’s Planning Commission.
The plans call for a 6,900-square-foot building with 12 rooms. The hotel will not have a restaurant, bar, or meeting rooms.
The developers are Roy Kite III, Julie McCallum and Danny Moseley. The project is being designed by Piazza Architects of Mandeville.
