A new development project is kicking off that will bring more residential and commercial to the warehouse district.
Developer Lloyd E. Huck is converting the historic building at 745 Baronne Street with a new three story building next door into residential and commercial units. The units will include access to outdoor space on the roof or the courtyard. The commercial space is 1,200 square feet.
Huck started work on the project after receiving a $1.2 million building permit on December 2, 2014.
Huck bought the vacant property 9 years ago and is financing it through federal and state historic tax credits.
Steve Finegan is the architect and Ryan Gootee General Contractors is the GC.
