Austin-Texas based developers Lisa Marie Boe and Rene Juan Salmon are ready to break ground on their proposed mixed-use development at 3987 Tchoupitoulas Street.

The pair filed plans with the last spring, and recently filed final plans for their building permit.

The project is 4,950 square feet and will rise 3 stories, with retail on the first floor and three residential units on floors 2-3.   The developers were able to obtain a variance from the Board of Zoning Adjustments to permit the construction of a multi-family residence with otherwise insufficient off-street parking.

The design looks great.  Christopher E. Johnson Architect, LLC is the architect of record, and PACE Group is the Structural Engineer.
