Leasing agents for the new development anchored by Robert’s Fresh Market at the corner of Elysian Fields and St. Claude avenues announced that the Metairie Small Animal Hospital is opening a new facility at the shopping center. The hospital will provide medical and surgical care, pet grooming and day care services for pets.
Robert Fresh Market broke ground on the $9.5 million project earlier this year. Last week Corporate Realty, leasing agent for the project, announced the new animal hospital location, which will take up a portion of the 12,200 square feet of retail available at the site. The grocery store will consist of 26,000 square feet.
Ryan Gootee General Contractors LLC and Trapolin+Peer Architects are the contractors and architects, respectively, on the project.
Robert’s is scheduled to open in early 2018, and Metairie Small Animal Hospital plans to open in May.
