New Orleans developer Felicity Property Company held a neighborhood meeting this week and revealed plans for their new development at 1300 Magazine Street, dubbed The Framework.

The Framework will feature several buildings around a central courtyard. Each of the buildings will feature retail and commercial on the ground floors, with office space on the top floors. The only tenant revealed by Patrick Schindler of Felicity was a new wine bar by Mark Latter, the owner of  Tujague’s and Bar Frances.  The bar will focus on wine, cocktails, and charcuterie. The wine bar, like most of the other yet-to-be-named businesses, will open up to the courtyard patio.  Some other tenant ideas include a breakfast cafe, dinner restaurant, and a gym.

Schindler and the Felicity team are the developers behind a ton of great projects nearby, including The Julian building at 1581 Magazine, the newly opened Auction House Market food hall, and the converted Saint Anna apartments on Prytania.  Felicity is known for their great design, so we are excited to see more details for The Framework.

Construction on The Framework should start this spring and should finish by the end of the year.

Bell Architecture is the architect and Palmisano is the general contractor.
