Plans were recently filed to convert three existing buildings into a 5-room boutique hotel at 1801-03, 1805, and 1807-09 Henriette Delille Street, right at the corner of Rampart and McShane Place, about three blocks from the edge of the French Quarter.
City filings indicate that the hotel will be named the Henriette DeLille Hotel. Plans call for the renovation of the three adjacent buildings to include a second floor add-on to 1801-03 which will feature 2 units, a camel back added to 1805 which will feature 1 guest suite, and a camelback added to 1807-09, which will have a total of two guest suites.
The developer also plans to build a raised wood deck at the rear. The property was recently listed for sale at $650,000 and according to records, sold for $527,000 in October 2017. The sale included the billboard at the back of the property.
The site is owned OM S4 LLC, a company based in Lafayette. WTA Studio is the architect.
