Las Vegas-based Atlantis Gaming Corp. has announced plans to build a new luxury boardwalk, condominium development and future casino on 16 acres in Laketown, Kenner, according to nola.com.

The plans include one-, two- and three-bedroom condos, a health spa, restaurants, a “jazz supper club,” a marina, tennis courts and swimming pools.  The company is seeking to sit down with Kenner Mayor Ben Zahn to begin lease negotiations this summer.
