Discount retailer Ollie’s Bargain Outlet plans to open a second location in the New Orleans metro area.

The retailer has signed a 29,000 square foot lease at 393 W. Esplanade Avenue in Kenner. The site was the former Stein Mart location. This will be Ollie’s second store in the area, with its first store at 3407 Lapalco Blvd. in Harvey.

Ollie’s, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Pennsylvania, is one of America’s largest retailers of closeout merchandise and excess inventory. There are over 400 stores across the U.S.

SRSA Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord on the lease negotiations. The store is scheduled to open in 2022.
