Bayou Burger & Sports Company has signed a lease to operate a second store in the French Quarter, reports Todd Price of Nola.com.
Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts, the owner and operator of Bayou Burger, says that the plan to open five additional Bayou Burger & Sports Company outlets in Orleans, Jefferson and St. Tammany parishes over the next five years.
Bayou Burger’s first store is located at 503 Bourbon St., and the second restaurant will go in at 1000 N. Peters St, which formerly housed Montrel’s Bistro.
The original restaurant, which opened in 2012, combines a sports bar atmosphere with an interesting mix of burgers, like alligator or venison patties, in addition to the traditional beef and veggie.
Bayou Burger is the creation of Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts led by Zeid Ammari.
Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts owns and operates a several restaurants and bars, including King Fish, Broussard’s, Cafe Maspero, Chartres House, and Big Easy Daiquiris.
