A few weeks back we reported that the former Little Korea Restaurant at 3301 S. Claiborne was being converted in to a furniture store.
We now have confirmation that the former Taco Bell location will be entirely demolished, and a newly built 4,000 square foot mattress store will be built in its place. No word yet on the store brand though.
The building and land has been listed for lease for months and is being marketed by Bill Soniat of Soniat Realty. The owners were asking for $36.60/square foot triple net. The listing now says that a lease is pending.
The building is 2,128 square feet, and the lot is roughly 21,000 square feet. Check out the building plans below.
Little Korea is staying open, they are just moving the location to 2240 Magazine Street.

Well…the plans say Mattress Firm…..so I’m going to go with the store being a Mattress Firm, which is based out of Houston.
