DSC Dredge, a manufacturer of cutter-suction dredges in the New Orleans area, reported a significant revenue increase, reaching $99 million in 2025. This marks a three-year growth of 85.5%, with a remarkable 60% jump from the previous year. In response, the company has completed expansions at its Reserve, Louisiana, and Poplarville, Mississippi campuses to enhance industrial capacity and workforce size.
The expansions include electrical and material-handling upgrades, as well as increased fabrication capabilities to support larger builds. The Reserve campus sprawls over more than 16 acres, featuring 27,000 square feet of buildings and a 7,200-square-foot corporate office. Meanwhile, the Poplarville location covers over 18 acres with 62,000 square feet of production facilities.
Chris Baldwin, DSC Dredge’s VP of Sales & Marketing, highlighted the need to scale the workforce, particularly in engineering and fabrication roles. The company aims to address the rising global demand through these improvements, though specific new hire figures were not disclosed.
