It looks like the long time Turbull Bakeries Plant, which closed in 2012,  is becoming residential. Plans were filed with the New Orleans HDLC this month for permission to demolish the existing warehouse buildings and to resubdivide the land into 18 single family residential lots. The former bakery occupies most of the block bounded by 1st., St. Thomas, Soraparu, Rousseau Sts.
