$106 Million Odeon tower, tallest building in 30 years, to open in New Orleans

The Odeon, the new 30-story apartment tower by Domain Companies, will be opening next month.

Domain plans to open the building at the end of November and has already starting leasing its 271 units. The 414,000 building includes 200 parking spaces, 30,000 square feet of amenities including a pool deck and outdoor lounge, and 12,000 square feet of retail.

Financing for The Odeon included a $69.5 million loan backed by The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, $9 million in construction financing from Iberia Bank, and Wheelock Street Capital.

The architect is Humphreys & Partners Architects.

The project will be the fifth phase of Domain’s South Market District and the sixth overall building.  You can check out the design and renderings here.  The Odeon joins the South Market District’s other projects, which include the super high-end $80 million condo tower, The Standard, mixed-use projects the Beacon and the Paramount, the parking garage and retail complex, and the Ace Hotel.
