The Latter & Blum acquisition tear continues, with the firm purchasing a Baton Rouge brokerage for the second time in six months.

Latter & Blum announced they have merged with Skill Real Estate, led by long time broker Ben Skillman.  Skill has five agents in commercial brokerage.  The transaction will see the Skill team folded under the Latter & Blum brand, and leverage its regional abilities and resources.

Just this past May, Latter & Blum acquired another Baton Rouge firm, Donnie Jarreau Real Estate.

Latter & Blum characterized the acquisition as a component of their massive growth strategy, where they’ve acquired a half-dozen brokerages over the past three years.

Latter & Blum acquired a firm in Houma this year, a Lake Charles firm in 2014, and a Houston firm last year that literally doubled the size of the company.  As of 2015, it was the 33rd biggest brokerage nationwide.
