Long & Foster Real Estate has appointed Lacey Conway as president, effective with the Jan. 28, 2026 announcement. The brokerage, one of the nation’s largest and part of HomeServices of America, said Conway will work closely with Patrick Bain, CEO and president of The Long & Foster Companies, to drive growth, culture and agent support.

Conway brings more than two decades of experience spanning roles from agent to chief executive. She comes from a multi‑generational real estate family and first entered the business as a teenager, interning at Latter & Blum before later joining the firm as a sales agent.

She rose through leadership positions at Latter & Blum, ultimately serving as CEO and guiding the company through a period of expansion before its acquisition by Compass. Latter & Blum is described as one of the largest independent brokerages in the Gulf South.

Most recently, Conway served in senior leadership at Compass, where she led merger and acquisition strategy following the Latter & Blum transaction. Long & Foster cited her background as aligning with its plans to strengthen brokerage operations and agent services.

Throughout her career, Conway has been recognized for an agent‑first approach, collaborative leadership and a focus on client experience, emphasizing tools, leadership and flexibility for agents. She holds an MBA from the University of New Orleans, a Bachelor of Science from Boston University and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
