A developer has plans to develop a new office building on Canal Street, directly across from the new LSU-VA Hospital complex.
According to the materials marketing the property, the vacant lot at 1839 Canal Street is proposed to be converted into a three story Class A office building for a total of 8,650 square feet of energy efficient space. The property is asking $25/SF tripe net, and is being marketed by agent Judith Slack of Latter & Blum.
They anticipate retail on the first floor and office above.
According to city records, the owner is currently listed as Wondrell Smith.
