Windfeel Properties, a New Orleans-based real estate company, announced last month that it purchased the 50-unit Chateau Hotel in Lafayette.
Windfeel purchased the hotel for $1.9 million and plans to convert and rebrand the hotel into a Clarion Pointe Hotel, part of Choice Hotels.
Windfeel Properties was founded in 1999 by Reggie Winfield.
