The 2014 Economic Outlook and Real Estate Forecast Seminar for the Northshore Region in Covington is being held on June 6. The University of New Orleans (UNO) and Latter & Blum, Inc. are c-presenters of the seminar.
The seminar brings “together people from a wide cross-section of the region’s business, professional and civic communities.” Panel discussion topics will be the north shore and it’s “intellectual and physical infrastructure.”
The region’s commercial and residential real estate outlook will be discussed also. Michael Olivier, CEO of Louisiana Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc, and Dr. Ivan Miestchovich, director of the Institute for Economic Development and Real Estate Research, will be the moderators for the panel.
Panelists include area university presidents; Susana Schowen of Louisiana Economic Development; Shelby LaSalle of Shelby P. LaSalle, LLC ; St. Tammany economic development director Don Shea; Marty Meyer, president of Stirling Properties, Inc.; Townsend Underhill, senior vice president of Stirling Properties; Michael Saucier, president of Gulf States Real Estate Services, Inc.; Richard Haase, president of Latter & Blum, Inc.; and Larry Schedler, president of Larry G. Schedler & Associates.
The seminar is on Friday, June 6th from 8:00AM to 12:30PM and will be held at the Clarion Inn and Suites Conference Center, 501 N. Highway 190, Covington, LA 70433.
Registration for the seminar is now open. It is $35 until 12:00PM on June 3rd or $40 at the door.
