Joe Jaeger Expands Empire, Buys UNO’s Metairie Campus For $5.3 Million

Joe Jaeger, the real estate developer and entrepreneur, has purchased a four-story building at 3330 North Causeway Boulevard in Metairie that formerly housed University of New Orleans’ Metairie campus, reports nola.com

Jaeger bought the 56,000 square foot property at an auction last month for $5.3 million, over the appraised valeu of $4.5 million.

According to the article, UNO decided to sell the building because of declining enrollment.

Jaeger is one of the developers that recently proposed the massive Trade District in the lower garden,  is developing the Jung Hotel on Canal Street, purchased the Whitney Wyndham Hotel, and recently bought the 45 story Plaza Tower.
