The Pelican Pointe Apartments in Slidell, Louisiana, have been purchased for $28.6 million.
The purchaser is Tampa-based Carter Multifamily, a group of companies focused on multifamily real estate opportunities
Built in 2000, the Pelican Pointe has 266 units consisting of of twenty-two, three-story residential buildings, a two-story clubhouse/office building, and a maintenance building.
Carter plans an extensive $1 million renovation, which will include renovations to flooring, lighting, a new tech cafe, fitness trail, dog park and outdoor kitchen.
Units in Pelican Pointe lease for between $848 for a one-bedroom, one-bath unit to $1,242 for a three-bedroom two-bath residence.
