General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD), announced last month their intention to open a new office in New Orleans which will initially house 30 new employees.
The yet-to-be disclosed location of the new facility is opening next spring and is immediately hiring technology staff to support federal government and defense operations, according to a news release.
“We’re excited to expand our GDIT TSS operations with new facilities in the southern region of the U.S. to support our growing technical shared services portfolio,” said Paul Nedzbala in a press release, GDIT senior vice president. “The new facilities open in spring 2022, and we are immediately hiring technical staff to support multiple federal government and defense IT operations.”
GDIT is a business unit of global aerospace and defense technology company General Dynamics that supports over government programs with IT services.
