Currently undergoing a $70 million renovation, the Riverwalk is scheduled to open in a few weeks (May 22).

To kick off the brand new Riverwalk and the opening of a ton of amazing stores, a group of local organizations are hosting a Riverwalk after-hours party for people to come, eat and drink, check out the new stores, and do some excellent late night shopping. There will be live music, amazing food, and the best part — it’s totally free.

It’s going down Friday, May 23rd from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Registration is free, but organizers are asking folks to register ahead of time, which you can do here.

Attendees will get the chance to see the additional 50,000 square feet of space and the new stores, which include Last Call by Neiman Marcus as the anchor, Coach, Coach Men’s Factory Store, LOFT Outlet, Kenneth Cole Company Store, Gap Outlet,  Puma, Lindt Chocolate and Lucky Brand Jeans.

Sponsoring organizations include 504ward, The YLC, PlayNola, Dress for Success, Habitat Young Professionals, Net2No, The Urban Leage, and the Junior League.
