Healthy salad restaurant City Greens will be opening a new location at 5001 Freret Street.
The popular spot will open in the former Halal Guys location, which closed in September 2018.
City Greens, founded by entrepreneurs Abhi Bhansali and Ben Kazenmaier, opened its first location downtown at 909 Poydras Street in 2012 and has since expanded with two other locations, one in Elmwood and one in Old Metairie.
City Greens offers seasonal salad and healthy offerings in a casual, quick service format. It has its own 63,000 square-foot hydroponic farm in Cottondale, Florida, and also sources products from farms around New Orleans.
