The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is hosting an event tonight that looks pretty damn awesome for anyone interested in real estate development.
The ULI has put on some great events in the past, including one on financing mixed-use developments, and they recently dished out $50,000 as part of an urban planning competition for redeveloping Mid City.
This event is called “New Orleans Development Transformation: Online Resources and the New CZO” and features a panel of specialists that will be speaking about zoning and the recent changes.
Panelists include Bob Rivers, City Planning Commission Executive Director, Jennifer Cecil, Director of the One Stop Shop, and Leslie Alley, City Planning Commission Deputy Director. They will be discussing the new CZO and how it impacts development and business around the city.
The event is free, but its only open to ULI members.
