$30 Million Mixed-Use Development Planned For Bywater

New Orleans developers Iris Development Co. and Green Coast Enterprises have announced plans for a $30 million five-story, mixed-use apartment building in the Bywater.

The development will be built at 2930 Burgundy Street, currently vacant land and a warehouse.  The project will feature 105 units, of which they plan to set aside 15 or 16 units for lower income residents.  Market rate rents will range from $1,300-1,600 for one bed rooms to $3,000 for three bed units.  The affordable units will range from $300-$1,000.

The project sits next to the site of the proposed 260 unit Via Latrobe project and is being designed by Rozas Ward Architects.
