Not even a month after its last acquisition, New Orleans real estate company Latter & Blum has expanded its footprint in Louisiana.
Latter & Blum announced yesterday it acquired Houma-based Patterson Real Estate Agency. The deal expands Latter & Blum’s residential operations to 30 offices with more than 1,400 agents, extending its reach as the state’s largest real estate brokerage.
Latter & Blum is coming off the heels of their best year ever, where they earned a record $97 million in revenue.
“Our expansion into Lafayette in 2013, Lake Charles last month, and today’s entry into Houma-Thibodaux uniquely positions our company to benefit from the unprecedented industrial expansion underway in Louisiana,” Latter & Blum Chairman & CEO Bob Merrick said in a news release. “Tens of billions of dollars are being invested along Louisiana’s energy corridor from New Orleans to Texas.”
The acquisition of Patterson is the fourth acquisition for Latter & Blum in the past two years. In August, the company announced its acquisition of Lake Charles-based ERA Moffett and in 2013 the company acquired Van Eaton & Romero Realtors of Lafayette and M.A. Allen Realty of Denham Springs.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
